With a strong team of 35+ professionals and 130+ skilled manufacturing staff, we focus on cost efficiency, wide product range, and fast delivery.We serve customers pan‑India, with a vision to make modern, premium, and luxury furniture accessible at affordable prices.Role Summary - Quality Control Manager(Engineered Wood Furniture)The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing the entire quality system from incoming raw materials to final product dispatch. You will lead a team of inspectors and technicians to ensure that every item meets strict quality standards for engineered wood furniture, CNC machining, lamination, assembly, and packing.This role involves:• Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and SOPs• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements• Conducting root‑cause analysis of defects and driving corrective actions• Collaborating with Production, Design, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality• Training QC staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvementKey Focus Areas• Define and enforce quality standards for CNC cutting, edge banding, lamination, drilling, assembly, finishing and packing• Manage incoming material inspection, including particle board, MDF, plywood, hardware, laminates & edge bands• Oversee in‑process QC for each stage: first‑piece approval, batch sampling, and final assembly inspection• Lead final inspection and approve products for packing and dispatch• Develop and maintain quality documentation: QC reports, defect logs, CAPA (corrective & preventive action) reports• Conduct periodic machine and equipment calibration checks (CNC, lamination presses, edge banders, testers)• Coordinate with vendors to resolve material quality issues and ensure supplier compliance• Analyse quality data, set KPIs (rejection %, rework %, customer complaint rate) and report trends to management• Train and supervise QC team members; conduct audits and continuous improvement projectsQualifications & SkillsEducation• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Wood Technology or Quality Management• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt) is an advantageTechnical Knowledge (Must Have)• Strong understanding of engineered wood products (MDF, particle board, plywood)• Knowledge of CNC machining tolerances, edge banding adhesion, lamination defects and finishing standards• Familiarity with quality control tools: SPC, root‑cause analysis, PDCA cycles, FMEA, and 5 Why• Experience with measurement instruments: Vernier calipers, micrometers, moisture meters, square gauges• Ability to interpret technical drawings and production BOMsExperience• 5–10 years in quality control/assurance within the furniture or engineered wood manufacturing industry• Proven track record managing QC teams and driving process improvements• Exposure to large‑volume production (e-commerce supply chains preferred)Other Skills• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills• Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy• Effective communication and cross‑department collaboration• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) for data analysis and reportingWhat We Offer• Senior leadership role with authority to design and execute quality systems• Opportunity to enhance factory quality performance and product reputation• Performance‑based incentives and career growth• Collaborative environment with direct access to company leadership• Stability and continuous projects in a growing engineered-wood furniture businessIndustry: Manufacturing / Furniture- Employment Type: Full-time
