The team is expanding and looking for a Senior Data Extraction Specialist to own end-to-end extraction workflows while guiding a junior team member.Role OverviewThe Senior Data Extraction Specialist will manage extraction projects, ensure high data quality, and support daily operations for client deliverables. The role involves hands-on extraction work, mentoring a junior data extractor, and driving process improvements in data operations.Key Responsibilities- Extract and process data from PDFs, forms, portals, spreadsheets, and scanned documents. - Perform detailed data validation checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Build and maintain extraction templates, logic, and SOPs for recurring client use cases. - Assign tasks, monitor daily performance, and support training of a junior data extractor. - Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve data discrepancies. - Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure on-time, high-quality client deliverables. - Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. - Maintain clear documentation of workflows, standards, and best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience in data extraction, data processing, or document analysis roles. - Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data handling tools. - Solid understanding of document structures and ability to work across multiple formats. - Excellent attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, high-accuracy tasks. - Good communication skills and prior experience guiding or mentoring junior staff. - Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup in Chennai.Preferred Skills- Experience with automated or semi-automated data extraction tools. - Exposure to client-facing environments or BPO/KPO-style workflows. - Basic scripting knowledge (Python, VBA, or similar) is a plus.What We Offer- Supportive work environment with opportunities to build strong domain expertise in data operations. - Clear growth paths within the data operations team. - Hybrid working model with flexibility and autonomy. - Exposure to diverse client projects and evolving data extraction technologies.How to Apply:Interested candidates can apply via LinkedIn
