Location: Across Tamil NaduEmployment Type: Full-time | Field-based roleAbout the RoleWe are hiring Agri Sales Associates in Tamil Nadu to drive on-ground adoption of Soil Spectra, a portable 2-minute soil testing solution used by FPOs, CBBOs, agri institutions, and input networks.This role focuses on on-ground engagement, in-person demonstrations, and relationship building with stakeholders across the agriculture ecosystem.Key Responsibilities • Identify and engage FPOs, FPCs, CBBOs, agri input dealers, NGOs, and KVKs across Tamil Nadu • Conduct product demonstrations and meetings at FPO offices, soil camps, farmer meetings, and dealer locations • Plan and execute field visits and follow-ups independently • Explain Soil Spectra clearly in simple Tamil, focusing on farmer and FPO benefits • Participate in soil camps, awareness programs, and agri events • Maintain lead lists, visit reports, and follow-up notes (basic CRM discipline) • Coordinate internally for product support and sales closure discussions • Collect feedback from FPOs and farmers and share insights with the teamWho Should ApplyThis role is suitable for candidates with hands-on field sales experience, especially in agriculture or rural markets.Preferred background: • Field sales experience with agri products, agri services, or rural B2B • Experience working with farmers, FPOs, SHGs, dealers, or agri institutionsKey Skills & Requirements • Strong comfort with field work and travel • Fluency in Tamil (spoken) is mandatory • Confident in conducting face-to-face discussions and demos • Trust-based, patient communication style • Willingness to learn soil health, fertiliser usage, and crop basics • Basic smartphone usage (WhatsApp, Google Forms, Google Sheets) • High ownership and self-management mindsetExperience Requirements• 1–5 years of relevant field sales experience mandatory • Agriculture degree/diploma is a plus, but not mandatory • Familiarity with Tamil Nadu’s agriculture ecosystem is a strong advantageWhat We Offer • Opportunity to work on a high-impact agri-tech product • Exposure to FPOs and farmer ecosystems across Tamil Nadu • Structured onboarding and product training • Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives • Travel reimbursement as applicable • Growth opportunities as the Soil Spectra program scales
