Director - Platform Engineering (Mumbai / Pune)The role has complete accountability of the applications in the specific platformacross all the environments including production. The role includes direct management responsibility of a large team of IT professionals within engineering across multiple geographies, as well as responsibility for third party technology partners that operate within domain.Roles & Responsibilities:- Able to anticipate platform problems and knows how to defend against them at the right time. Is able to articulate the problem and helps others to articulate the problem, and pro-actively builds resilience in the platform, but coaching problem solving capabilities in others through the communities of practice. - Gives direction on which tools / methods to use by Delivery teams. Able to bring insight and expertise in how users of the platform’s needs have changed over time and are likely to change in future. - Keeps abreast of industry best practice and cascades accordingly. Knows how to make platform operations efficient and resilient. - Demonstrates an understanding of user-centred design, alongside complementary technology and data perspectives - Is aware of and understands agile methodology and how to apply an agile mindset to all aspects of their work - Able to secure funding through Enterprise Governance Forums, and experience of preparing viable business cases - Understands the different phases of product/service delivery lifecycle in Customer Technology and is able to contribute to, plan or run these phasesQualifications:- 20 years+ experience leading large teams and engaging with senior stakeholders. - Proven experience in creation and delivery of scenarios to Senior Management and ExCom Teams - Strong comprehension of Engineering and Industry Standards - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at the most senior levels of the organisation. - Experience of delivering training and awareness campaigns for crisis management - Experience of managing, coaching and training of peopleIf you wish to explore this opportunity, kindly write to me at "dhwani@"
