Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Design Engineer – Building Design based in Kozhikode. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating electrical designs, performing design engineering tasks, working on electrical engineering projects, ensuring electrical systems comply with safety standards, and managing power distribution systems. Daily tasks will involve collaborating with the architectural and structural teams to integrate electrical systems into building designs, preparing detailed electrical plans, and overseeing the implementation and testing of electrical systems in various construction projects. Qualifications Preparation of electrical design drawings and layouts Load calculations, single line diagrams (SLD), and schematics Lighting, power, earthing, and lightning protection system design Coordination with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines Preparation of drawings and documents for authority submissions Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and project specifications Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Prior experience in building design is a plus
