Job Title: Analyst Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Company: Nexus Test Labs Pvt Ltd., Positions : 3 Job Summary: Nexus Test Labs Pvt Ltd, a premier testing laboratory, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analyst for our Water Department. The ideal candidate will oversee the analysis of various water samples. This role requires expertise in handling advanced analytical instruments, ensuring compliance with CPCB, ISO 17025 (NABL), and other regulatory standards, and meticulous documentation of daily activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analytical Testing & Quality Control: Perform the analysis of water samples according to standards such as IS 10500, IS 13428, IS 14543, customer-specific methods, and other regulatory requirements. Chemical Proximate analysis of food samples Manage the testing of wastewater, sludge, Soil and Air samples in line with CPCB standards and other guidelines. Ensure that all testing procedures and methods are validated, calibrated, and maintained according to industry standards strumentation Management: Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments including Gas Chromatography (GC), Flame Photometer, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, pH meters, conductivity meters, turbidimeters, micro balances and other basic analytical instruments. Oversee the calibration, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance of all instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. 3. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of all daily laboratory activities, analyses, calibration logs, and quality control procedures in strict adherence to ISO 17025 (NABL) requirements. Ensure that all test reports, quality control records, and instrument maintenance logs are accurately maintained and easily accessible for audits. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality procedures to continuously improve laboratory operations. 4.Regulatory & Customer Engagement: Provide technical support and expertise to customers, addressing any queries related to test methodologies and results. 5.Process Improvement: Continuously review laboratory processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and safety. 6.Reporting of Results Enter results in result sheet, review, and verify comprehensive test reports in a timely manner, ensuring that all results are accurately documented, clearly communicated to clients and regulatory authorities, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Requirements: Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably with experience in water testing. Technical Skills: Proficient in the operation of instruments such as Gas Chromatography, Flame Photometer, UV-Vis, FTIR and related analytical equipment. Strong knowledge of CPCB guidelines, IS standards (IS 10500, IS 13428, IS 14543). Compliance & Documentation: Thorough understanding of ISO 17025 requirements and experience in maintaining comprehensive documentation as per NABL guidelines.
