Role Overview We are seeking a remote Customer Service & Sales Representative who can provide exceptional customer support while identifying and converting sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities Customer Support Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner Manage and update customer support tickets using CRM or helpdesk tools Provide detailed product information, prepare quotations, and update customers on order status and invoices Handle technical questions and basic troubleshooting with patience and expertise Coordinate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to resolve customer issues Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions Follow up proactively with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution Identify recurring questions or issues and suggest improvements to processes, FAQs, or documentation Sales Responsibilities Identify sales opportunities during routine customer interactions Qualify leads based on customer needs, budget, timeline, and fit with our products Convert support inquiries into sales opportunities when appropriate Prepare and send customized quotations and product proposals to prospects Proactively reach out to warm leads and existing customers for upselling and cross-selling Educate customers about product benefits, technical specifications, and applications Handle pricing negotiations within approved guidelines and company policies Close small to medium-sized deals independently Track sales opportunities, conversions, and pipeline status in CRM system Follow up with prospects at appropriate intervals to move deals forward Report regularly on sales activities, pipeline status, conversion metrics, and revenue generated Collaborate with sales team on larger opportunities requiring technical or pricing support Process Improvement Analyze customer feedback and identify trends in customer needs and pain points Contribute to development of sales scripts, email templates, and support documentation Share insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback with management Suggest improvements to products, services, or processes based on customer interactions Required Qualifications Experience 1-3 years of proven experience in customer service with sales responsibilities Prior experience in B2B sales, inside sales, sales support, or customer success roles Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or quotas Experience handling quotations, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals Prior customer support, customer service, e-commerce, or B2B support experience Technical Skills Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) or Microsoft Office Experience with CRM systems such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Freshworks, or similar Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and online collaboration platforms Experience with ticketing systems or helpdesk software Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps) and quiet, professional work environment Personal Attributes Customer-first mindset balanced with sales orientation and revenue focus Self-motivated and target-driven with ability to work independently Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Patience, empathy, and professional demeanor in all customer interactions Ability to work flexible hours to support customers in different time zones Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, technical products, or B2B sales Familiarity with international business practices and cross-cultural communication Previous experience in startup or small company environments Basic understanding of engineering concepts, technical specifications, or industrial applications Experience with email marketing, customer outreach campaigns, or lead generation Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or online sales processes What We Offer Compensation & Incentives Base salary: INR 18,000 -
