Job Title: Senior Quantity Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Location: Malad, Mumbai Experience: 8+ Years Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Estimator with a strong background in government infrastructure and large-scale commercial projects . The candidate should have hands-on expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and billing for projects such as hospitals, data centers, schools, institutes, and warehouses . Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions. Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications for government and commercial projects. Prepare rate analysis , cost comparisons, and budget estimates. Handle RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements . Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost control. Monitor project costs and assist in variation orders, claims, and deviations . Ensure compliance with government norms, specifications, and standard schedules of rates (SOR) . Support tendering activities including pre-bid queries, bid submissions, and negotiations . Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to quantities and costs. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of civil construction quantities and estimation . Experience with government projects and public sector tendering processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel , and estimation software (preferred). Good understanding of commercial buildings such as hospitals, data centers, educational institutions, and warehouses. Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings and specifications . Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Experience Requirements Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in quantity estimation and billing. Proven experience working on government and large commercial construction projects . Preferred Attributes Exposure to PMC / EPC / contracting organizations . Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and cost accuracy.
