Data Analyst Intern – Performance Marketing Company: TalentGum Team: Performance Marketing & Growth Type: Internship (3 months) Mode: Remote Stipend: ₹8,000 – ₹15,000 / month (based on skill level) About TalentGum TalentGum is an ed-tech platform offering live online extracurricular classes (music, dance, chess, public speaking, dance, etc.) for children aged 5–14 years . We work with parents across India and NRIs globally, helping children build confidence beyond academics. Role Overview We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern – Performance Marketing who will work closely with the paid ads and growth team . This role focuses on tracking, analyzing, and optimizing marketing performance across platforms like Meta, Google, and landing pages to improve ROAS, CAC, and conversions . Key Responsibilities • Analyze paid marketing data across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other platforms • Track end-to-end funnel metrics (Leads → Trials → Enrollments → Revenue) • Build and maintain performance dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets / Looker Studio / Power BI) • Monitor CAC, ROAS, CPL, conversion rates , and cohort performance • Identify winning creatives, audiences, and funnels using data • Support A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and offers • Create daily/weekly performance reports with clear insights and action points • Flag anomalies and performance drops early Required Skills • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas) • Basic SQL for data extraction and analysis • High comfort with numbers, ratios, and trends • Ability to connect marketing data → business outcomes • Strong attention to detail and consistency in reporting Good to Have • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager / Google Ads • Basic SQL for data extraction and analysis • Experience with Looker Studio / Power BI / Tableau • Basic Python (Pandas) for data cleaning • Understanding of performance marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL, CAC, ROAS) • Experience working with funnels or attribution data Who Should Apply • Final-year students or recent graduates• Background in Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics, Business, or Analytics • Candidates with hands-on marketing or analytics projects preferred What You’ll Gain • Real exposure to high-spend performance marketing systems • Learn how data drives scaling decisions • Work closely with growth and leadership teams • Certificate of Internship.
