Hiring - Retail Store Project Manager Location – Lower Parel, Mumbai Experience- 3+ Years From Retail Industry only Role Overview This is a hybrid design-execution role for a project manager from the retail industry who understands the nuances of creating premium retail spaces. You will own the end-toend lifecycle of store development — from design conceptualization and vendor sourcing to execution and compliance. You should bring a strong network of pan-India vendors and contractors, have deep technical design knowledge, and be equally comfortable with on-ground supervision and high-level coordination with mall and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Management & Execution • Manage the complete project lifecycle: design → BOQ → vendor selection → execution → handover. • Coordinate with mall teams for approvals, statutory clearances, and fire safety certifications. • Track timelines, budgets, and quality parameters for all projects. • Ensure smooth handover of fully operational stores within committed timelines and CAPEX limits. 2. Vendor & Contractor Management • Identify, evaluate, and empanel vendors and contractors across regions for joinery, civil, MEP, lighting, and signage. • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure cost, quality, and delivery standards. • Benchmark pricing and materials to continually improve value and speed of execution. 4. Budgeting & Cost Control • Prepare and manage store-wise CAPEX budgets and value-engineer where necessary. • Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure timely billing and closure. • Track project costs versus estimates and recommend cost-saving initiatives. 5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management • Work closely with the COO, Retail Operations, and Brand teams to align on store pipeline and priorities. • Serve as the point of contact for all architectural and technical coordination. • Prepare project status reports and maintain documentation for management reviews. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputed institute. • 3–6 years of experience in retail architecture and project management (preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail). • Proven track record of managing retail store projects. • Strong network of retail vendors and contractors across India. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Aesthetic sensibility with practical, execution-first mind-set.
