Provide technical expertise in design, development, and optimization of advanced reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric platform, Power BI and Jira Dashboard that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. As a key member of the reporting team, collaborates internally and with cross-functional stakeholders to define and track critical KPIs, standardize reporting processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective data visualization and analysis. Develop Quality Engineering strategies and standards, including KPI’s and Metrics for regression and performance testing for development teams. Educate Product teams on QE best practices and assist them in their adoption. Coach product teams in implementing QA and QE practices in a SAFe Agile environment. Evaluate current QE processes in Product teams and drive them to conform with established standards. Engage with other QE staff to deliver high quality testing solutions across the organization. Collaborate with QE tools architects/engineers to resolve issues and recommend improvements. Conduct POC projects on emerging QE technologies and drive them towards adoption in the organization. Mentor QE staff and assist in developing curriculum for staff upskilling.Expected deliverables may include: Quality Engineering Strategies, Test Strategies, Test Implementation Plans, Jira Initiatives, Epics and User Stories, presentations to Senior Management, and Marriott internal deliverablesJob Responsibilities:Quality Leadership:- Senior engineer on Enterprise Quality Engineering Performance team, specializing in Neoload and K6 for automated scripting, load and stress testing of applications and services. - Expert in observability solutions Davis and Grail within Dynatrace to provide deep analytics, AI-driven insights, and automated anomaly detection. - Collaborate closely with developers and cloud engineers to ensure robust analytics, reporting, and performance benchmarking, utilizing Neoload, K6, and Dynatrace dashboards. - Lead troubleshooting and performance issue resolution with Dynatrace, leveraging Davis AI for automated problem identification and Grail for advanced data querying and analytics. - Champion continuous improvement in performance testing practices, tool selection, and adoption of leading-edge products like Harness, K6, Davis, and Grail.Delivering Technology:- Performs complex quantitative and qualitative analyses for delivering Quality Engineering reporting solutions - Validates solutions with internal customers and stakeholders - Facilitates achievement of expected deliverables per planManaging Projects and Policies:- Assists in the defect management process - Participates in the identification and monitoring of risks and issuesSkills and Experience:Required:- 6+ years of IT leadership experience with a blend of deep technical knowledge and a customer-focused mindset - Experience in software development, test engineering, with expert-level expertise in multiple testing methodologies - Experience engaging highly technical architecture, engineering and operations teams and driving outcomes with QE automation - Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills - Able to guide the implementation of BDD, TDD and related approaches to software development - Experience with Test Automation and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Ant, Maven, Jenkins) - Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certificationPreferred:- Demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations. - Proven knowledge of Agile methodology (preferably SAFe Agile). - Experience with mixed and offshore delivery models. - Good process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem resolution skills. - Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Knowledge of business environment, service requirements, and hospitality culture. - Ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and influence appropriate courses of action. - Ability to communicate technology lifecycles and strategies.Education and Certifications:- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.Work Location: Hyderabad, India.Work Mode: Hybrid.Marriott’s core values:At Marriott, our core value make us who we are.
