The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between disciplinary content (Humanities/Languages) and pedagogical practices, preparing the next generation of educators in alignment with NEP 2020 standards.Responsibilities- Academic Delivery: Conduct high-quality lectures and practical sessions for B.A. B.Ed. students in their respective specialized subjects (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or Languages). - Curriculum Development: Assist in designing and updating the ITEP curriculum to integrate "content-cum-pedagogy" as per NCTE guidelines. - Mentorship & Supervision: Guide student-teachers during school internships, field engagements, and community service modules. - Research & Innovation: Engage in active research in Education or the concerned subject, publish in UGC-CARE listed/Scopus-indexed journals, and participate in conferences. - Departmental Service: Contribute to NAAC/NIRF documentation, student counseling, and university-level administrative committees.QualificationsMandatory Qualifications- Postgraduate Degree: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in one of the following subjects: History / Geography / Political Science / Economics / English / Modern or Classical Languages. - Professional Degree: B.Ed. degree from a recognized university. - Eligibility Test/Research: Must have cleared NET/SET or possess a Ph.D. (as per UGC Regulations 2018) in Education or the concerned subject.Desirable Qualifications- M.Ed. degree is highly preferred for roles involving pedagogical training. - Prior experience in teaching Integrated B.A. B.Ed. or B.Ed. programs. - Proficiency in using ICT tools and Digital Pedagogy.Pay range, compensation package and BenefitsRemuneration: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, following UGC / Government of Maharashtra / University norms.Environment: Access to a vibrant multidisciplinary ecosystem, research incentives, and faculty development programs.Equal Opportunity StatementMIT ADT University is committed to diversity and inclusivity in its hiring practices.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their updated CV and scanned copies of educational documents to the HR department at hr.resume@.
