Job Description – MES Engineer – 3 to 5 Years’ Experience Position:MES Engineer Experience:3–5 Years Location:Talegaon Pune Department:Maintenance / Automation / Projects Employment Type:Full-time 1. Role Summary The Robot Engineer will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems based onMES platforms. The engineer will support plant operations, production lines, utility systems, and new automation projects to ensure high equipment uptime and optimal performance. 2. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, and maintainManufacturing Execution Systems (MES) . Integrate MES withPLC / SCADA / DCS / ERP (SAP, Oracle)systems. Develop and configure MES functions such asproduction tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, genealogy, traceability, quality management , and batch reporting. Collect real-time shop-floor data from machines, sensors, and control systems. Configure data models, workflows, and business rules as per manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot MES application, data, and communication issues. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports for production, quality, and maintenance. Coordinate with IT, automation, production, quality, and maintenance teams. Train end-users and provide production support. MES Platforms / Tools (Any or Multiple): LEADACE MES Custom MES solutions 3. Technical Skills Required: ·Strong understanding ofmanufacturing processes(discrete / batch / continuous). ·Hands-on experience inMES configuration and deployment. ·Knowledge ofPLC systems(Siemens) and shop-floor connectivity. ·Knowledge of C# / .Net, Visual Studio ·Experience withSQL databases(MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL). ·Familiarity withOPC UA / DA, MQTT, REST APIs. ·Understanding ofISA-95 / ISA-88 standards. ·Experience with report development and data visualization tools. ·Basic knowledge ofnetworking and cybersecurityin OT environments. 4. Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering . 5.Preferred Industry Experience: ·Automotive / Steel / Cement / Pharma / FMCG / Power / Manufacturing Plants
