Role SummaryThe Robot Engineer will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems based on MES platforms. The engineer will support plant operations, production lines, utility systems, and new automation projects to ensure high equipment uptime and optimal performance.2. Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, configure, and maintain Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). - Integrate MES with PLC / SCADA / DCS / ERP (SAP, Oracle) systems. - Develop and configure MES functions such as production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, genealogy, traceability, quality management, and batch reporting. - Collect real-time shop-floor data from machines, sensors, and control systems. - Configure data models, workflows, and business rules as per manufacturing processes. - Troubleshoot MES application, data, and communication issues. - Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports for production, quality, and maintenance. - Coordinate with IT, automation, production, quality, and maintenance teams. - Train end-users and provide production support.MES Platforms / Tools (Any or Multiple):- LEADACE MES - Custom MES solutions3. Technical Skills Required:·Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete / batch / continuous).·Hands-on experience in MES configuration and deployment.·Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens) and shop-floor connectivity.·Knowledge of C# / .Net, Visual Studio·Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL).·Familiarity with OPC UA / DA, MQTT, REST APIs.·Understanding of ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards.·Experience with report development and data visualization tools.·Basic knowledge of networking and cybersecurity in OT environments.4.
