GLOBAL PROCESS OWNER - FINANCE & ACCOUNTING (AP SPECIALIST)Salary 35 to 42 lacs including (32 to 35 fixed) Experience 10-20 years About the Role We are seeking aGlobal Process Owner - Finance & Accounting(Senior Manager / AGM level) to lead our Accounts Payable transformation and standardization initiatives. This is a strategic role reporting to the Head of Financial Services, based at our India operations center.GPO-JD.pdf Position Summary: This is a senior individual contributor role focused on ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of F&A processes—particularly Accounts Payable—across the entire global organization. You will drive process standardization, implement automation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for an AP specialist with a strong end-to-end Finance & Accounting background who thrives in managing complex, multi-regional financial operations Key Responsibilities Leadership & Process Ownership Define, document, and implement standardized F&A/AP processes across all global regions and business units Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the F&A team Develop and implement service delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and redundancies Process Optimization & Automation Lead process improvement initiatives with focus on AP automation and streamlining Implement new technologies and automation solutions (RPA, BI tools) to streamline F&A/AP workflows Analyze process performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities Develop and maintain process flowcharts, documentation, and training materials Partner with IT to ensure systems and tools effectively support F&A/AP activities Financial Operations & Analysis Develop and maintain KPIs to measure effectiveness of F&A/AP processes Monitor and analyze F&A/AP data to identify trends and opportunities Support creation of accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the F&A function Compliance & Risk Management Ensure F&A/AP processes comply with all accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), regulations, and internal controls Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with F&A/AP operations Stakeholder Management & Communication Foster strong relationships with regional F&A/AP teams and business partners Communicate process changes and updates to all stakeholders effectively Provide ongoing training and support to regional teams on standardized processes Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple concurrent projects Candidate Profile Essential Requirements (Must Have) Experience & Expertise: 14+ yearsof post-qualification experience in Financial Accounting, AP Operations, and Process Transformation Extensive background inAccounts Payableoperations across global multi-location setups Strong end-to-end Finance & Accounting knowledge Experience withERP systems(Oracle Fusion, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) Exposure toautomation tools– RPA, BI tools, VBA/Macro, or similar technologies Technical & Professional Skills: Knowledge ofIFRS / GAAPaccounting standards Excellent proficiency inMS Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Demonstrated ability toextract, analyze, and visualize datafrom financial systems Strongstatistical and analytical skills Experience working in aglobal matrix environment Behavioral & Leadership: Excellentleadership and communication skillswith ability to influence across functions Ability to work effectively in arapidly changing, high-pressure environment Strongproject management skills– ability to handle multiple projects and multi-task Desirable Qualifications (Nice to Have) Working experience inOil & Gas, EPC, Manufacturing, or Aerospace sectors Six Sigmaor lean certification Project Management certification(PMP, PRINCE2) RPA, BI, or data visualization toolsexpertise (Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, etc.) Location & Application Location:India Operations Center (Flexible work arrangements available) How to Apply:Submit updated Resume/CV highlighting AP/F&A process improvement experience.
