Job title:Manager/ Sr. Manager/ Deputy General Manager - Sales & Business DevelopmentWe are seeking experienced and dynamic professional s Manager/Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager - Sales & Business Development (SMT Business)to drive sales growth, business expansion, and strategic partnerships within India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge ofSurface Mount Technology (SMT), electronics manufacturing processes,and a proven track record ofhigh-value technical sales . The role involves extensive travel across India to develop client relationships, identify business opportunities, and support project implementation.Technical Skills Required Strong technical understanding ofSurface Mount Technology (SMT) processes and equipment — including Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, AOI, SPI, and Conveyors Proven experience inselling capital equipment or turnkey SMT manufacturing solutions Familiarity withPCB assembly processes, soldering techniques, and line balancing Good knowledge offactory automation systems, robotics, and Industry 4.0 integration Understanding ofelectronic component handling, material management, and ESD compliance Experience insolution-based and consultative sellingfor manufacturing systems Exposure tovendor coordination, pricing, and technical documentation preparation Ability to bridgetechnical discussionsbetween clients, internal engineering teams, and global technology partnersBehavioral Skills Required Strong business acumenwith the ability to align technical solutions to customer needs and commercial objectives Strategic thinkerwho can identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business relationships Excellent communication and presentation skillsto engage with senior decision-makers and global partners High ownership and accountabilityin driving results and managing end-to-end sales cycles Relationship-driven mind-setwith a focus on trust-building and customer retention Negotiation and persuasion skillsto close complex, high-value deals Self-motivated and proactive , with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Resilience and adaptabilityto operate in a dynamic, travel-intensive environment Goal-oriented with strong follow-through , ensuring commitments are met within timelinesJob Responsibilities Sales Development:Drive sales of SMT equipment and automation solutions by identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships. Market Expansion:Analyse emerging trends in the electronics manufacturing sector to develop market entry and growth strategies across key regions. Customer Engagement:Work closely with OEMs, EMS providers, and manufacturing units to position NMTronics as their preferred technology partner. Solution Selling:Collaborate with technical teams to propose the right mix of SMT solutions based on customer requirements and production goals. Vendor & Partner Coordination:Liaise with global technology partners to align on pricing, product roadmaps, and joint marketing initiatives. Travel & On-Ground Presence:Frequent travel (60–70%) across India for client visits, demonstrations, trade shows, and installations.Education: B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred) Diploma candidates may require 3 years more working experienceYears of Experience:Manager - Sales & BD:8–10 years in SMT, electronics manufacturing, or capital equipment sales Senior Manager - Sales & BD:10-12 years in SMT, electronics manufacturing, or capital equipment sales Deputy General Manager - Sales & BD:12-15 years in SMT, electronics manufacturing, or capital equipment salesJob Location: Noida (1 Position) Gurgaon (1 Position) Pune (1 Position) Sanand (1 Position) Chennai (1 Position) Hyderabad (1 Position) Bangalore (1 Position)Salary budget: Manager - Sales & BD:20-25 LPA Senior Manager - Sales & BD:25-30 LPA Deputy General Manager - Sales & BD:30-40 LPASalary is negotiable based on the candidate's skills and experience.
