Role Overview: We are seeking an experiencedSAP IS-U Device Management Consultantwith strong expertise inAdvanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) . The role requires hands-on functional knowledge of SAP IS-U Device Management processes, batch job scheduling, system integrations, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver stable and optimized utility solutions.The ideal candidate should be capable ofworking independently , handling complex IS-U scenarios, and contributing toprocess improvement and change management initiatives .Key Responsibilities SAP IS-U Device Management & AMI: Act as asubject matter expert (SME)forSAP IS-U Device Management , includingAMI integration Configure, support, and optimizedevice installation, replacement, removal, and meter lifecycle processes Handle AMI-related data flows, validations, and exception managementSystem Operations & Batch Processing: Understand, monitor, and supportSAP batch jobs and job schedulingrelated to IS-U processes Analyze batch failures, performance issues, and propose corrective actions Ensure stable system operations across billing, device, and metering processesIntegration & Process Optimization: Work onSAP IS-U integrationwith other SAP modules and external systems Identify gaps and recommendprocess improvementsto enhance efficiency and system performance Support enhancements, change requests, and functional testing activitiesStakeholder Collaboration & Change Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and business objectives Translate business requirements into functional solutions within SAP IS-U Demonstrate strong awareness or hands-on exposure tochange management processes Support documentation, impact analysis, and user communication during changesRequired Skills & Qualifications 4–8 years of hands-on experience inSAP IS-U Device Management Strong exposure toAMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) Good understanding ofSAP batch jobs and scheduling Experience withIS-U integrations(SAP modules and external systems) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a global delivery team
