Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager – Last Mile, you will own and scale the end-to-end last-mile delivery experience across customer, rider, and operations touchpoints. You will work at the intersection of logistics, operations, and technology to build high-impact products that enable faster, more reliable, and cost-efficient deliveries.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-scale, real-time, operations-heavy environments like quick commerce, food delivery, or hyperlocal logistics.What makes the role meaty? Last-Mile Delivery (LM) — Own DE + 3P Delivery Product CharterBuild and scale the end-to-end last-mile delivery product, enabling Licious to move from dependency on third-party partners to a high-control, owned last-mile model.Drive improvements in SLA adherence (promised delivery time vs. actual) and CPD (Cost Per Delivery) across a daily order volume of 35,000–40,000 orders.Own and evolve the Last-Mile Delivery App, including future roadmap for app store deployment (modules for hiring, L&D, incentives, gamification, DE engagement, and performance tracking).Partner deeply with Last-Mile Ops to build tech that improves delivery efficiency, reduces delays, and enhances customer and delivery-executive experience.Build frameworks to compare and improve 3P vs. own delivery CX and DX.Product Ownership & StrategyOwn the last-mile delivery product roadmap, aligned to business goals such as SLA adherence, cost per delivery, rider productivity, and customer NPSDefine and prioritize problems across order allocation, rider routing, batching, slotting, ETA accuracy, cancellations, and exceptionsDrive product vision for both customer-facing and ops/rider-facing experiencesExecution & DeliveryTranslate complex operational problems into clear product requirements, PRDs, and success metricsPartner closely with engineering, data science, design, operations, and supply chain teams to ship high-quality solutionsLead experimentation (A/B tests, pilots) to improve delivery speed, reliability, and unit economicsData & MetricsUse data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities across the delivery funnelDefine and track key metrics:On-time delivery (OTD)Cost per dropRider utilization & idle timeDelivery success rate & customer complaintsLeverage predictive and real-time signals for decision-makingStakeholder ManagementAct as the single-threaded owner for last-mile initiativesWork closely with city ops, hub managers, and central ops teams to deeply understand on-ground challengesCommunicate progress, trade-offs, and outcomes to senior leadershipWhat You’ll BuildIntelligent order-to-rider allocation systemsDynamic routing and batching logicReal-time ops dashboards and alerting systemsRider app improvements for productivity and experienceCustomer delivery experience improvements (ETA accuracy, communication, issue resolution)We hope that you have..4–8+ years of Product Management experience3+ years working on logistics, last-mile, food delivery, or quick commerce productsStrong understanding of hyperlocal delivery operationsProven ability to ship products in high-scale, time-sensitive environmentsStrong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets and metricsExperience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience in food delivery, e-commerce, ride-hailing, or quick commerce companiesExposure to routing algorithms, dispatch systems, or real-time optimization problemsExperience building ops-heavy internal toolsMBA or equivalent experience (nice to have, not mandatory)What Success Looks LikeImproved delivery SLAs and ETA accuracyLower cost per delivery without compromising customer experienceHigher rider productivity and satisfactionScalable last-mile systems that support rapid business growth
