Facility Project Manager (FPM)Department : Facilities & Administration Designation:Manager Admin Industry : BPO / ITES Location : Mumbai Reports To : Director India – Facilities & Real EstateRole Summary The Facility Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of facility build-outs, expansions, renovations and Capex projects across sites. The role requires strong technical, project management and stakeholder coordination skills to ensure timely, cost-efficient and compliant project execution.Key Responsibilities • Lead new facility setups, interior fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades. • Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets and progress dashboards. • Oversee MEP works (Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Safety, Networking) and ensure technical quality. • Manage contractors/vendors and ensure adherence to SLAs, safety norms and project timelines. • Validate BOQs, proposals, and Capex budgets, drive cost optimization. • Ensure statutory compliance, local approvals and audit readiness. • Coordinate with IT, HR, Business Operations, Physical Security and Finance for project alignment. • Conduct site reviews, risk assessments, quality inspections and issue resolution. • Facilitate smooth handover including snag closure, commissioning and documentation.Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical preferred). • 10–12 year’s experience in Facility Projects within BPO/ITES or corporate real estate. • Strong technical understanding of MEP, interior works, and commercial infrastructure. • Experience managing projects 50,000–200,000 sq. ft. • Certifications like PMP/Prince2 preferred.Technical Skills • Project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana/Jira). • AutoCAD and ability to read drawings/BOQs. • Budgeting, Capex planning, cost control. • Knowledge of electrical load planning, UPS/DG, HVAC, fire systems.Behavioural Skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management. • High ownership and problem-solving mindset. • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines. • Compliance-focused and quality-driven approach.Key Performance Indicators • On-time project delivery. • Capex and budget adherence. • Safety and compliance standards met. • Vendor performance effectiveness. • User satisfaction post-handover.
