Hiring: Senior Data QA / EDW Tester (Power BI) Location: Open / India / Remote Experience:5+ years EDW / Data QA ,2+ years Power BI Employment Type: Full-time / ContractJob Overview We are looking for aSenior Data QA / EDW Testerto execute hands-on data validation and testing forEnterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)solutions. This role focuses onETL validation, SQL-based testing, and Power BI report validation , working closely with Agile teams to ensure high data quality and accuracy.Key Responsibilities Executehands-on data validation and testingfor EDW solutions including ETL pipelines, transformations, and reporting layers Design and executetest casesto validate: Source-to-target mappings Data accuracy, completeness, and consistency Business rules and transformations PerformSQL-based data analysis , reconciliation, and defect investigation across multiple data sources ValidatePower BI dashboards and reports , including: Data accuracy and calculations Filters, slicers, and visual behavior Row-Level Security (RLS) Alignment with EDW data Collaborate closely withDevelopers, Business Analysts, and Product Ownerswithin Scrum teams Actively participate inAgile ceremonies(Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) Log, track, and retest defects, ensuring resolution within sprint timelines Supportregression testing , data quality checks, and validation of incremental and historical data loadsSkills to Look For (Mandatory) Data & EDW Testing Strong experience inEDW / Data Warehouse testing Solid understanding ofETL concepts , fact & dimension tables, andSCD types Experience validatingincremental and full loads SQL & Data Analysis StrongSQL skills(joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations) Experience performingdata reconciliation and root cause analysis Power BI Testing Hands-on experience validatingPower BI reports and dashboards TestingDAX calculations, measures, filters, slicers Experience validatingRow-Level Security (RLS) Platforms & Tools Experience withSQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks , or similar platforms Familiarity withAzure Data Factory / ETL tools(good to have) Defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA) Agile & Collaboration Experience working inAgile / Scrum environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively withon-shore and off-shore teamsQualifications Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Systems , or equivalent experience 5+ yearsof hands-onEDW / Data QA experience 2+ yearsof hands-onPower BI experienceNice to Have Experience withcloud data platforms (Azure preferred) Knowledge ofdata quality frameworks and validation automation Exposure todata governance and data lineage conceptsInterested candidates : Please share your CV to
