Summary:The Plant HR Manager plays a pivotal role in driving human resources excellence within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing all HR operations at the plant level, ensuring seamless alignment with corporate policies while maintaining strict adherence to statutory regulations. Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, attendance tracking, and employee records with precision and accuracy. Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements for manufacturing units. Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain compliance documentation, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory and third-party agencies. Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances; resolve issues promptly and proactively to maintain a positive work environment. Promote employee engagement through communication initiatives, welfare programs, and effective industrial relations, including coordination with unions where applicable. Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for staff and workmen across all plant functions, ensuring timely hiring and smooth integration. Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs, conduct interviews, and make data-driven hiring decisions. Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical, safety, and behavioral training programs to enhance workforce capability. Monitor training outcomes, maintain training calendars, and ensure continuous development aligned with operational goals. Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in plant HR or industrial HR roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting. MBA in Human Resources or Business Administration required. Demonstrated success in managing HR operations, compliance, and employee relations in a large-scale manufacturing environment. Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication across all organizational levels. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations frameworks, and compliance standards relevant to Indian manufacturing units. Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite for data management, reporting, and documentation. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Angul Location.
