As a Specialist Inspector Mentor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings meet the highest safety and compliance standards, while developing the team to produce high quality Inspection reports. In this role, you will: Lead, develop, and mentor a team of specialist inspectors across building disciplines. Oversee complex inspections, investigations, and compliance activities. Provide technical expertise and authoritative guidance on regulatory requirements and the National Construction Code. Contribute to the development and implementation of inspection frameworks, policies, and processes that improve compliance outcomes. Engage with stakeholders, practitioners, and industry bodies to influence best practice and uphold community confidence in the sector. About You We are seeking a collaborative Inspector and subject matter expert who brings: Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or Inspecting, with at least IN-U registration. Demonstrated experience in regulatory inspections and/or technical investigations. Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and guide Inspectors. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A sound understanding of the Building Act, Building Regulations, and National Construction Code. Why Apply?
