Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring effective project execution. Develop and oversee design strategies, ensuring alignment with railway industry standards. Drive product innovation, conceptualization, and execution of engineering projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to optimize manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety norms, and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team. Analyze and improve design methodologies to enhance product efficiency and costeffectiveness. Manage engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and provide engineering solutions. Oversee vendor and supplier coordination for engineering-related materials. Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Key Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering 10 to 15 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the railway industry. Strong expertise in design and product development. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design tools. Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of railway components, systems, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
