Job Title: Manager / Assistant Manager – Civil  (Plant Construction - Solar Cell Manufacturing) Department: Projects / Civil Engineering Location: ………………. Reports To: Head - Construction Experience: 8–12 years Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar / EPC / Industrial Infrastructure Job Purpose: To manage the Onsite Civil  design, installation, and commissioning activities during the construction of solar cell & Module manufacturing plant. The role ensures execution as per project schedule, quality, and safety standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. After Plant Commissioning the person will take Responsibility of Maintenance of Plant . Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design Prepare, review, and approve civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations. Project Management Plan, schedule, and manage multiple civil engineering projects from concept to completion. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines; implement corrective actions when needed. Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and government authorities. Construction Supervision Oversee site activities to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards. Approve materials, methods, and workmanship in accordance with specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings. Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technical staff. Review and approve technical reports, method statements, and shop drawings. Stakeholder & Regulatory Liaison Prepare and present project updates to  management. Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and certifications from authorities. Manage communication between all project stakeholders. Key Requirements: Education:  Minimum 8 years in civil engineering, including project design, planning, and site supervision. Diploma /B.E./B.Tech in Civil  Engineering from a recognized institution. Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Civil execution of large-scale industrial projects, preferably in solar, semiconductor, pharma, or Chemical Industry . Experience in greenfield projects is preferred. Technical Skills:   Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, and other engineering software.   Strong understanding of structural analysis, geotechnical principles, and hydrology.   Knowledge of relevant local and international engineering codes (e.g., ACI, BS, ASTM). Soft Skills: Strong coordination, team leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure with a solution-oriented mindset. Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and committed to deadlines.
