Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer for a 6-month contract to consolidate, enhance, and standardize documentation across our SaaS platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Client-facing teams to create a unified, scalable documentation framework. Qualifications: Experience: 3–6 years as a Technical Writer or Content Specialist in a SaaS or product-based organization. Strong understanding of software development, cloud/SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, security, and architecture fundamentals. Familiarity with security standards and certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Exceptional writing, editing, and information architecture skills. Hands-on experience with documentation tools like Confluence, Notion, and Git-based repositories. Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex technical concepts. Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. In-depth knowledge of GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices. Proven experience managing complex GCP deployments and incident response. Key Responsibilities: Documentation Creation & Enhancement: Develop, refine, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including: Product requirement documents Design specifications Architecture and security overviews Support models and operational guides Release notes and internal technical briefs Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly content. Own end-to-end platform security documentation. Documentation Strategy & Repository Management: Set up and manage a centralized documentation repository using tools such as Confluence, Notion, or similar platforms. Define templates, content standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability. Maintain document accuracy, discoverability, and version control across all resources. AI-Driven Documentation Acceleration: Leverage AI tools to streamline content creation, editing, summarization, and auditing processes. Implement AI-supported workflows to enhance documentation efficiency and quality. Working Conditions: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Remote role aligned to UK working hours. Occasional on-site presence at the Bengaluru office, with at least one week’s prior notice.
