The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SQL experience with the ability to understand complex data models and translate business requirements into efficient SQL code that captures business context accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logicAnalyse and understand existing data models and database schemasCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirementsTranslate business requirements into SQL code that accurately reflects business logicWrite efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL codePerform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of SQL implementationsParticipate in code reviews and follow established development standardsDebug and optimise SQL queries for performance improvementCreate and maintain technical documentation for developed solutionsSupport testing activities and resolve data-related issuesRequired Qualifications4 years of hands-on SQL development experienceProficiency in at least 2-3 SQL dialects, such as Databricks SQL T-SQL (SQL Server) PL/SQL (Oracle) MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS platformsStrong understanding of relational database concepts and data modellingAbility to read and interpret complex data models and ERDsExperience translating business requirements into SQL logicSolid experience with joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL conceptsExperience with data transformation and aggregation techniquesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modellingUnderstanding of data quality and validation techniquesOffer Details:Commitments Required: 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST.
