We are seeking asenior-level Bookkeeper & Payroll Administratorwith proven experience supportingCanadian trucking and transportation companies . This role is designed for a professional who can independently managefull-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and compliancein a remote environment with accuracy, discipline, and accountability. This is along-term, full-time remote position , reporting to an in-house accounting team in Canada.Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records for fleet operations and freight transactions Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including fuel cards, permits, tolls, and vendor payments ProcessCanadian payroll , driver settlements, and reimbursements Handleprovincial fuel tax reportingand quarterly filings Track equipment depreciation, maintenance costs, and compliance-related expenses Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and support cash flow monitoring Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) EnsureGST/HST, CRA, and year-end compliance , including audit supportRequired Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience with Canadian companies Proven experience handlingCanadian payroll administration Strong, hands-on experience withQuickBooks Online Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel Solid understanding ofCanadian tax regulationsand provincial fuel tax requirements Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation Ability to work independently in aremote setupwith minimal supervision High ethical standards, confidentiality, and reliabilityRemote Work Requirements Reliabledesktop or laptop computer High-speed internet connection Quiet and professional work environment Ability to workfixed PST hoursconsistentlyWhy Join Us?
