Senior Data Engineer (Azure / Microsoft Technologies)Location: India (Remote, Full-Time)Experience: 7+ Years (Strong Hands-On, Production-Grade)Role OverviewDesign, build, and operate modern, cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure.Own end-to-end data pipelines with focus on scalability, security, governance, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign cloud-native, scalable data architectures on Azure.Build batch, incremental, and CDC-based data pipelines.Implement ELT patterns using Azure Synapse and Databricks.Develop real-time data pipelines using Event Hubs, Kafka, and Stream Analytics.Implement data governance, security, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.Mentor engineers and lead architecture discussions.Required Skills & Experience7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark / PySpark.Experience with real-time data processing (Event Hubs, Kafka, Azure Stream Analytics).Understanding of ML data workflows, feature engineering, and MLOps integration.Experience working with C# on Azure-based data or platform workloads.Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.Strong Python / PowerShell scripting skills.Nice to HaveDocker and Kubernetes experience.Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, OneLake, Synapse Engineering).Experience collaborating with Analytics / BI teams (Power BI or equivalent)Exposure to at least one additional cloud platform (AWS or GCP).Cloud cost optimization experience.Why Join UsWork on enterprise-scale, AI-ready data platforms.Fully remote role with strong technical ownership.Opportunity to define standards and best practices.
