IIG South is seeking a dynamic and skilled CAD Faculty for Jewellery Design to train students in industry-oriented CAD software and practical jewellery design applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, teaching ability, and hands-on industry exposure.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom and practical training in Jewellery CAD software such as: Rhino / MatrixGold / ZBrushTeach Jewellery design, modelling, rendering, and file preparation for manufacturing.Guide students on design concepts, proportions, stone setting layouts, and production feasibility.Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises as per curriculum.Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and design submissions.Stay updated with latest CAD trends and jewellery manufacturing techniques.Maintain lab discipline and ensure proper use of CAD infrastructure.Required QualificationsDiploma / Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or related field.Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in jewellery CAD.Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes is an added advantage.Key Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in Jewellery CAD software.Good communication and presentation skills.Ability to handle students and explain concepts clearly.Creative mindset with practical problem-solving ability.Basic knowledge of gemstone settings and metal properties preferred.Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates based in Bangalore will suit this job.Immediate joiners will be given preference.Passion for teaching and mentoring students in the jewellery field.Employment TypeFull-timeHow to ApplyInterested candidates can send their resumes for the next process.
