The role involves architecting end-to-end modern data solutions, leading data strategy initiatives, enabling DataOps/MLOps practices, and collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to drive data modernization at scale. Key Responsibilities Design and developmodern, cloud-native data architecturesto support analytics, BI, and advanced insights. Build and optimizecost-effective data infrastructureusingAzure Databricks . Orchestrate data workflows usingDatabricks Workflows and Azure Data Factory (ADF) . Leaddata strategy and architecture discussionsfocused on scalability, performance, and flexibility. Design and implementCI/CD pipelines for DatabricksusingAzure DevOps . Partner with customers to deliverdata modernization and migration solutions . Developtraining plans and learning materialsto upskill internal associates. Buildindustry-specific and domain-driven data solutionstailored to customer needs. Design and implement aSmart Operations frameworkcoveringDataOps and MLOpsbest practices. Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Management, BI, and Analytics teams in complex enterprise environments. Required Skills & Experience 10+ yearsof overall experience in data engineering and analytics, with at least4+ yearsdeliveringcloud-native, end-to-end data solutions(ingestion to consumption). Strong hands-on experience architecting and implementingModern Data Platforms on Azure . Advanced experience withDatabricks, PySpark , and distributed data processing frameworks. Proven expertise incloud-native architecture , data governance, and security. Extensive experience migratingon-premises data platforms (Hadoop, Spark)toAzure Databricks . Strong understanding ofdata warehouse concepts , includingcolumnar database architectures . Hands-on experience withETL/ELT tools ,Kafka or streaming platforms , and modern data integration patterns. Solid understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologiesand working in iterative delivery models. Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a large-scale IT ecosystem. Preferred / Added Advantage Experience designing and implementingData Mesh architectures and Data Products . Exposure toindustry-specific data solutions . Knowledge ofadvanced analytics and ML enablementon cloud data platforms.
