Job Title :Manager / Senior Manager –International Business / Exports Industry:Packaging Films, Plastic & Polymer Products, Flexible Packaging, Speciality Films.Job Purpose:To lead and expand the company’sexport business for packaging films and polymer-based productsby developing international markets, managing overseas customers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving sustainable revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:Export Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and executeexport sales strategiesfor packaging films (BOPP, BOPET, CPP, PE films, laminates, etc.). Identify and developnew international markets , distributors, and OEM customers. Manage and grow relationships withexisting overseas clientsto maximize repeat business. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements with global customers. Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements in target regions.Order Management & ExecutionOversee end-to-endexport order processingfrom enquiry to shipment and payment realization. Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely dispatch. Ensure compliance with delivery schedules, specifications, and customer expectations.Export Documentation & ComplianceEnsure adherence tointernational trade regulations , export controls, and country-specific norms. Supervise export documentation, including: LC, DP/DA, Incoterms Commercial invoices, packing lists COO, COO (FTA), test certificates, MSDS Ensure compliance withcustoms, DGFT, GST, and other statutory requirements .Logistics & Supply Chain CoordinationLiaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, and insurance providers. Optimize freight costs and transit timelines. Manage claims related to shortages, damages, or delays.Financial & Risk ManagementMonitor export receivables and ensuretimely payment realization . Manage credit limits and assess customer risk. Work closely with finance on forex exposure and pricing strategies.Team Leadership (For Sr. Manager Role)Lead and mentor the export sales and documentation team. Set targets, monitor KPIs, and conduct performance reviews.
