Role Overview:Provide strategic and functional leadership to the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function across the organisation, with a strong focus on electrical safety governance, ensuring the design, execution and operation of multiple offices are intrinsically safe, compliant and resilient. The role is responsible for institutionalising a robust EHS management system with particular emphasis on electrical hazard prevention, energy isolation, system integrity and life-safety assurance, aligned with the organisation’s EHS Philosophy, Mission and Vision. The Head-EHS will drive a culture of zero harm, ensuring proactive risk identification, mitigation and continual improvement through strong employee engagement, leadership ownership and disciplined processes, while embedding sustainability, ESG commitments and statutory compliance across all establishments and locations.Functional / Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of statutory EHS requirements for various existing properties and those under construction with specific expertise in electrical and fire safety regulations and codes. Expertise in fire safety engineering. Sound understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment and control processes to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards, particularly electrical and fire risks. Ensure efficient functioning of civil structures, electrical systems, HVAC, fire safety, lifts, DG sets, and utilities. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Oversee execution of civil, electrical, and refurbishment projects across locations. Competence in managing hazards with specialized awareness of electrical shock. Strong command of EHS management systems, audits, compliance assurance and continual improvement. Key performance indicators would include but not limited to - Zero major/fatal accident, 100% compliance to applicable laws, Implement best practices, Motivate and empower the team, Execution of EHS programsQualifications & Experience Engineering Graduate/Post-Graduate with two years full time post Diploma in Safety Management from a recognised university. Certification course from NEBOSH/ Certified Safety Professional is preferred. 18–20 years of experience in similar roles. Candidates from Defense backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Ability to identify and manage outsourced contractors and agencies. Business Acumen Building & Leveraging Relationships Proven experience in managing multiple offices.
