Our practice is rooted in research, experimentation, and articulating contemporary Indian luxury design.Role Overview We are looking for a designer who is highly-motivated and a self starter who understands that unlike a corporate, fluidity is crucial for small studios like ours. This means no rigid roles. No “that’s not my department.” You will: Design things for the real world (yes, AutoCAD, Rhino, Keyshot, Adobe Suite—we see you) Go on mini adventures to find the just-right material/colour/finish Chat with craftspeople, vendors & collaborators Learn things design schoolconvenientlyskipped Help with photoshoots and our Instagram feed And maybe send some emails too We are looking for someone who is curious, hands-on, and deeply engaged with materials, form, and process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving fluidly between concept development, drawing, prototyping, and working closely with craftspeople and fabricators. You will contribute across the full design lifecycle—from early research and ideation to detailed drawings, prototyping, and final production—while developing a strong personal point of view within the studio’s design language.Key Responsibilities Develop furniture and object concepts from initial research through to final execution Create design drawings, technical details, and specifications for production Explore materials, finishes, and construction techniques through mock-ups and prototypes Work closely with artisans, workshops, and vendors to translate designs into physical outcomes Participate in material sourcing, sampling, and experimentation Document designs, processes, and collections (drawings, visuals, presentations) Support installations, exhibitions, and studio projects as required Contribute to ongoing design research and studio conversationsSkills & Experience Degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field 0-3 years of experience in a design studio, workshop, or craft-led practice Proficiency in software such as Rhino (or similar) Comfort working hands-on with materials and prototypes Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects Interest in craft traditions, sustainability, and experimental processes Thoughtful, collaborative, and self-driven approach to work Ability to produce clear technical drawings and communicate with makersWho You Are A curious cat (yes, we love cats) who’s hands-on, self-starting, idea-loving, typo-fixing, prototype-chasing, anddefinitelynot afraid of a little chaos.
