Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Valuation Assistant Manager to join our Luxembourg-based Valuation practice, working remotely from Pune, India, and leading a local team of valuation analysts. Our focus is on independent and audit-assist valuations for private equity, venture capital, and private debt fund clients across Europe, involving illiquid assets and complex capital structures.About the RoleThis is a leadership-track position suited for candidates with strong technical grounding, experience in financial modeling, excellent structuring and writing skills, and the ability to manage people, priorities, and quality at once.Responsibilities- Lead valuation engagements end-to-end (modeling, analysis, reporting, coordination with Lux) - Manage and coach the local team of analysts and senior analysts in India - Ensure quality of deliverables, resolve technical valuation issues, and maintain alignment with IPEV - Prepare and review financial models (DCF, market comps, LBO, convertible instruments, waterfall, etc.) - Draft and review valuation reports and internal memorandums in English - Act as liaison between the India team and Luxembourg leadership, ensuring clarity, consistency, and deadlines are metQualifications- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or CA/CFA Level III candidate or holderRequired Skills- 5+ years of relevant experience in valuation, deal advisory, or transaction services (Big 4, boutique advisory, or valuation teams of global firms preferred) - Proven team management and project delivery experience - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to independently build, troubleshoot, and review models - Excellent command of English (written and spoken); EU language is a plusPreferred Skills- Experience in financial modeling - Excellent structuring and writing skillsEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
