Company DescriptionPopulux HR is a leading Executive Search firm based in Kochi, Kerala . We are presently hiring for an export oriented leading manufacturing company dealing in Food Ingrediants.Key Responsibilities:Export & International Sales Strategy- Develop and execute global sales strategies for products specialty tea, and other food ingredients across international markets in USA, EU, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, etc. - Identify new geographies, market segments, and application areas within beverages, nutraceuticals, and functional foods. - Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and volume targets for export business. - Monitor global market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.Key Account Management & Client Development- Build and manage long-term relationships with multinational beverage brands, blenders, private-label players, and ingredient buyers. - Act as the primary interface for strategic international customers, handling commercial negotiations, contracts, and supply agreements. - Lead customer onboarding, RFQs, tenders, and annual price negotiations.Product Customization & Application Development- Work closely with R&D, product development, and quality teams to deliver customized ingredient solutions based on customer specifications. - Translate customer requirements into product briefs covering flavour profiles, solubility, caffeine levels, certifications, and regulatory compliance. - Support application trials and commercialization for RTD beverages, extracts, and functional blends. - Drive innovation-led sales by introducing new products and customized variants to global clients.Export Operations & Regulatory Compliance- Oversee export sales coordination with logistics, documentation, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time deliveries. - Ensure compliance with international food safety standards and certifications (FDA, EU regulations, FSSAI equivalence, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, etc.). - Support audits, customer quality assessments, and regulatory documentation requirements.Channel & Distribution Management- Appoint, manage, and review international distributors, agents, and channel partners. - Define channel strategies including direct B2B sales, distributors, and strategic partnerships. - Set performance metrics and conduct periodic reviews to maximize channel effectiveness.Commercial & Financial Management- Prepare annual export sales budgets, forecasts, and demand plans. - Track sales performance, contribution margins, and cost structures for international business. - Collaborate with finance teams on credit management, pricing models, and profitability analysis. - Ensure adherence to company policies on contracts, payments, and risk management.Cross-Functional Leadership- Act as a bridge between sales, marketing, R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams. - Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to guide capacity planning and innovation pipelines.Brand & Market Representation- Represent company at international trade fairs, industry forums, and customer events. - Strengthen Company’s positioning as a reliable, innovation-driven, sustainable ingredient partner. - Support sustainability and traceability initiatives as a key part of customer engagement.Leadership & Governance- Contribute to strategic planning and business reviews at senior management level. - Ensure ethical business practices, compliance, and alignment with company’s corporate values. - Drive a performance-oriented, customer-focused sales culture.Eligibility- Sales & Marketing Profesional with 15+ Years experience in Food ingredients Export Sales - Candidate must haved handled B2B Sales in US, Europe markets and preferably from Tea industry. - Proven expertise in Sales, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets in export markets.Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferredJob Location : Kochi, KeralaCTC : As per industry standards
