Front-End Shopify Developer (with SEO Focus)3-5 Yrs of ExperienceLocation: Bangalore, Bannerghatta Road | Work Mode: Onsite (5 days office, no hybrid, no work‑from‑home option)Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a self-motivated and strategic Shopify developer with strong expertise in themecustomization, app development, and performance-focused SEO. In this role, 80% of your focus will be on Shopify front-end and app development, and 20% on SEO optimization and site performance. You’ll contribute to building scalable, high-converting e-commerce experiences while ensuring the site meets modern SEO and speed standards. You’ll work as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, partnering closely with design, marketing, and product stakeholders to drive initiatives forward and deliver impactful solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment (70%)- Develop or customize Shopify apps using Shopify APIs, webhooks, and Shopify Functions toextend store functionality, automate workflows, and support complex business needs.- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Collaborate with design and content teams to translate mockups and requirements intoresponsive, high-converting experiences.- Develop custom sections, features, and micro-interactions that enhance user experience. - Implement A/B testing and data-driven updates to improve UX and drive conversion. - Create reusable components and scalable architecture for long-term maintainability. - Optimize front-end code for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. - Integrate APIs and third-party services where needed to extend Shopify functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and theme-related issues quickly and efficientlyPerformance & SEO Optimization (30%)- Monitor and improve Shopify site speed and Core Web Vitals across both mobile and desktopplatforms.- Audit and implement essential on-site SEO best practices, including meta tags, alt attributes,semantic HTML, and structured data.- Use tools like Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and Search Console to identify and resolveperformance bottlenecks.- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure technical SEO efforts align withbroader business and content strategies.- Evaluate the impact of third-party apps on site performance and recommend code-based ornative alternatives when appropriate
