Role: Communication DesignerLocation: BengaluruReporting to: Creative Design LeadTeam name: Creative, MarketingAbout the Team and the RoleThe Creative, Marketing team at Ather is responsible for conceptualizing and creating captivating, on-brand visuals for product launches, events, advertising campaigns, and social media.This role is for a Communication Designer which is a hands-on position, perfect for building and growing skills across all phases of a design project.Responsibilities- Conceptualize and create captivating, on-brand visuals for product launches, events, advertising campaigns, and showrooms. - Adapt work to different media, whether it's print, digital or another creative platform. - Collaborate with designers, copywriters, production teams, and external vendors to deliver on-brief work. - Communicate work-in-progress ideas using prototypes, references, and moodboards until final refinement. - Participate in brainstorms and pitch finished designs while defending creative choices with thoughtful rationale. - Design internal and external facing presentations to communicate ideas to stakeholders and customers. - Solve marketing problems with creative solutions regardless of the medium of execution. - Set realistic timelines and maintain quality while working within the Ather brand language constraints.Experience and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 2 years of industry experience in communication design, branding, or graphic design.Must Have Competencies- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the professional execution of brand visuals and design projects. - Apply advanced visual storytelling, design principles, typography, and layout across diverse media. - Utilize Apple Keynote to create and present strategic design concepts to stakeholders. - Use clear communication and technical design language to explain ideas and synthesize feedback into actionables.Good to Have Competencies- Utilize knowledge of print production processes and techniques for high-quality physical media execution. - Integrate secondary skills like motion design, video editing, or 3D work into design projects. - Apply strategic thinking and a purpose-driven mindset to solve complex design problems. - Stay current with global design trends to continually push the creative boundaries of the brand.Want to know more?At Ather, we’ve built India’s first intelligent scooter, from scratch.
