The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and a keen eye for cost efficiency and quality assurance.Key Responsibilities:- Support Procurement Strategies: Assist in implementing efficient procurement strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. - Vendor Management: Support vendor identification, evaluation, and relationship management to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness. - Technical Evaluation: Read and interpret engineering drawings to assess procurement needs and vendor capabilities. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, production, and stores teams to align procurement activities with business needs. - New Vendor & Part Development: Assist in developing new vendors and sourcing mechanical parts/components as per requirements. - Supplier Audits & Assessments: Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality and capacity expectations. - Claims Handling: Manage and follow up on vendor claims related to defective or short-supplied materials. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Maintain procurement data, analyze trends, and generate reports for strategic decisions. - Compliance: Ensure supply chain practices align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.Desired Skills & Competencies:- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings - Hands-on exposure to mechanical component manufacturing - Basic to intermediate knowledge of cost analysis and pricing strategies - Strong negotiation and techno-commercial skills - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented mindsetEducational Qualifications:- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)Work Location:Plot No. 35, 36 & 37, Kancha Imarath, Near Ravirala Village, Hardware Park, Hyderabad, Telangana 501510NOTE: Interested candidates can share their updated CV/Resumes to recruitment3@
