Greetings from Tata Consultancy Services!Join our Walk-in Drive and accelerate your career with TCS AI Cloud Team.We are hiring for:Role: Ms SQL DBAExperience: 5-13 YearsWalk-In Drive DetailsDate: 31th January 2026Registration Time: 09:30 AM 12:30 PMVenue:42(P) & 45(P), Electronic City Phase II, Bengaluru, Karnataka, 560100Mode: Face-to-Face (Offline Interview)Job Description:Key Responsibilities- Manage and support production MS SQL Server environments (2016–2019–2022). - Perform performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning for SQL Server instances. - Administer High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions. - Execute and validate backup and recovery operations. - Automate operational and maintenance tasks using T‑SQL and PowerShell. - Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues. - Ensure security, compliance, and patching best practices. - Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams. - Participate in on‑call and off‑hours support as required.Required Skills & Experience- 5–12 years of hands‑on experience as an MS SQL Server Administrator. - Strong understanding of SQL Server engine architecture and internals. - Experience with performance tuning using DMVs, Query Store, wait statistics, and execution plans. - Hands‑on experience with HA/DR such as: - Always On Availability Groups - Failover Cluster Instances - Log Shipping / Replication - Strong knowledge of backup & restore strategies (full, diff, log, PITR). - Experience with SQL Server security (logins, roles, encryption, auditing). - Working experience with automation using T‑SQL and PowerShell. - Exposure to Windows OS, storage concepts, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
