IIG South is seeking a dynamic and skilled CAD Faculty for Jewellery Design to train students in industry-oriented CAD software and practical jewellery design applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, teaching ability, and hands-on industry exposure.Key Responsibilities- Deliver classroom and practical training in Jewellery CAD software such as: Rhino / MatrixGold / ZBrush - Teach Jewellery design, modelling, rendering, and file preparation for manufacturing. - Guide students on design concepts, proportions, stone setting layouts, and production feasibility. - Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises as per curriculum. - Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and design submissions. - Stay updated with latest CAD trends and jewellery manufacturing techniques. - Maintain lab discipline and ensure proper use of CAD infrastructure.Required Qualifications- Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or related field. - Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in jewellery CAD. - Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes is an added advantage.Key Skills & Competencies- Proficiency in Jewellery CAD software. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Ability to handle students and explain concepts clearly. - Creative mindset with practical problem-solving ability. - Basic knowledge of gemstone settings and metal properties preferred.Preferred Candidate Profile- Candidates based in Bangalore will suit this job. - Immediate joiners will be given preference. - Passion for teaching and mentoring students in the jewellery field.Employment Type- Full-timeHow to Apply- Interested candidates can send their resumes for the next process.
