Junior Textile DesignerWe are looking for an entry-level textile designer who is passionate about sarees, textiles, and craft, and who also enjoys interacting with customers on the sales floor. This is a unique role that blends design, storytelling, and retail experience.You will work closely with the design team to support new collections, colour stories, motifs, and fabric developments, while also spending time in the store understanding customers, explaining products, and learning how design translates into sales.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in developing saree designs, colour palettes, motifs, and fabric concepts - Support sampling, swatch making, and design documentation - Learn and communicate the story behind each saree to customers - Engage with customers on the sales floor and help them choose products - Collect customer feedback and translate insights back into design inputs - Support visual merchandising and in-store displays - Work with weavers, vendors, and production teams when requiredWho You Are:- A graduate or final-year student in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field - Genuinely loves sarees, handlooms, and craft - Enjoys talking to people and explaining design stories - Curious, observant, and eager to learn both design and retail - Comfortable spending time both in studio and on the shop floor - Good communication skills in EnglishWhy This Role is Special:This role helps you grow as a complete designer—someone who understands not just how a saree is designed, but how it is experienced, chosen, and loved by the customer.
