The role focuses on planning, performance analytics, unit economics, and commercial insights acrosstransportation, warehousing, and network operations.This is a high-visibility, business-facing role suited for Tier-1 MBA/ CA / CFA professionals with strong analytical depth and stakeholder influence, with experience of 7+ yearsKey Responsibilities:Business Partnering & Insights- Act as a strategic finance partner to operations and business leaders - Deliver profitability insights across routes, warehouses, customers, and products - Analyse key cost drivers, including freight, fuel, manpower, rentals, and last-mile costsFP&A & Performance Management- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews - Track variances, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions - Build concise MIS, KPIs, and leadership dashboardsUnit Economics & Cost Optimisation- Drive improvement in unit economics, margins, and operational efficiency - Support pricing, contract evaluation, and commercial negotiations - Identify cost leakages and efficiency improvement opportunitiesStrategic & Investment Support- Support network expansion, warehouse launches, automation, and capex decisions - Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and scenario models - Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial outlookGovernance & Controls- Ensure adherence to financial controls and approval frameworks - Partner with controllership to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
