SAP Functional Expert (Any module)Location: Ahmedabad / Baroda / Pune / Mumbai / BangaloreExperience: 4 to 20+ yearsPosition: Consultant to DirectorEngagement Model: Full-time EmployeePreferred Background: Big4 Consulting experienceRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Expert to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP functional implementations for enterprise clients. The role involves deep functional expertise, strong business process understanding, and close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful SAP solution delivery aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute at least 2 end-to-end SAP functional implementations, from blueprinting and design through configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. - Drive business process workshops, requirement gathering, and fit–gap analysis with client stakeholders. - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and work closely with SAP technical teams for solution realization. - Configure SAP modules as per business needs and best practices. - Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live activities. - Provide functional leadership and guidance across SAP project phases. - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring SAP solutions deliver measurable business value. - Manage stakeholder communication and expectations in a consulting-led environment.Required Skills & Experience- 4–20+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant. - Strong hands-on experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations. - Deep functional expertise in one or more SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, WM/EWM, etc.). - Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes relevant to the chosen SAP module(s). - Experience working across integrated SAP landscapes and coordinating with cross-functional teams. - Excellent client-facing, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and lead functional streams within large programs.Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience with Big4 consulting firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or similar global consulting organizations. - SAP Functional certification(s) in relevant modules. - Experience in delivering large, complex SAP implementation programs in the domestic manufacturing industry.
