Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting- Preparation of financial statements including consolidated financial statements according to Ind-AS. - Preparation of schedules as per the auditors requirement. - Closing monthly/quarterly/yearly financials and reports. - Liaising with teams and auditors on a regular basis and ensuring timely completion of audit. - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. - Preparation of Project Cash Flows and monitor the progress - Ensure all financial reports are accurate, complete, and in compliance with local accounting standards IND AS. - Strong knowledge on all IND AS accounting standards especially IND AS 1, 2 7, 8, 12, 16, 19, 115, 116, 107, 109, 32, 103 & 110. - Coordinate with plant/branch finance teams for timely submission of financial data. - Review inter-company transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations. - Support statutory audit and internal audit for group reporting. - Drive improvements in reporting systems, consolidation processes, and internal controls.2. Budgeting and Forecasting:- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor and control departmental budgets, ensuring proper allocations and identifying variances.3. Internal Controls and Compliance:- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets. - Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies. - Support the implementation of audits and ensure compliance with external auditing standards.4. Financial Analysis and Strategy:- Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. - Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.5. Tax and Regulatory Compliance:- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax regulations and provide advice on tax planning. -6. Team Management (if applicable):- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff. - Ensure proper training and development to ensure a high-performing finance team.7.
