With over 70% of global consumer growth driven by Asia, Opptra is focused on unlocking these markets with speed, efficiency, and local expertise.Role SummaryThe Product Manager - Softlines will own and drive digital product initiatives across Opptra's softlines portfolio, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms, marketplace integrations, and scalable retail technology solutions.This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and operations, and is responsible for identifying high-impact product opportunities, shaping product strategy, and delivering measurable outcomes. The PM will work closely with engineering, data, business, and operations teams in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Ownership: Identify, define, and articulate high-impact product opportunities aligned with business goals Translate customer problems, operational gaps, and market signals into clear product roadmaps Define product vision, success metrics, and outcome-driven KPIs E-commerce & Domain Leadership: Own product initiatives across B2C and B2B e-commerce workflows, including marketplaces and D2C Drive solutions across discovery, conversion, merchandising, pricing, inventory, fulfilment, and retention Identify value leakage, inefficiencies, and unmet needs across the e-commerce value chain AI, Automation & Technology Leverage: Apply AI, GenAI, and automation thoughtfully to solve real business problems Partner with engineering and data teams to design and deliver AI-enabled, scalable solutions Ensure technology adoption is measurable, outcome-focused, and responsibly deployed Build vs Buy & Solution Evaluation: Lead product-level decisions across custom builds, SaaS tools, and integrations Evaluate trade-offs across speed, cost, scalability, and long-term ownership Provide strong product leadership in solution and architecture discussions Execution & Stakeholder Leadership: Drive alignment and execution across cross-functional stakeholders Prioritise initiatives based on impact, effort, and strategic relevance Influence without authority using structured thinking, data, and clear narratives Hold teams accountable to outcomes rather than outputExperience & Skills Required: 5-7+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex digital or platform products Strong experience in B2C and/or B2B e-commerce, including marketplaces, D2C, and retail workflows Proven ability to use data, analytics, and AI/automation to drive product decisions Sound judgment in build vs buy decisions and third-party solution evaluation Experience working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
