The Company's publications are popular and command a large readership.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Producer to join our busy production team. You will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the Editor.To ensure success, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch video editor can perfectly translate an editor’s idea into a beautifully crafted film or video piece, worthy of broadcasting.Responsibilities:• Meeting with the Editor to determine production vision.• Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list.• Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.• Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.• Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.• Inserting dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.• Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.• Consulting with the Editor and production team throughout the project.• Edits videos to targeted length and specifications• Handles and organizes raw and edited video files• Exports videos and facilitates mobile and web distribution• Shoots video and produces content as necessary• Explores different versions and directions• Ensures compliance with the highest journalist standards• Adjusts formats and file sizes as needed• Creating the final cut for broadcasting.Requirements:• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media.• Minimum 2 years of video editing and post-production experience• Proficient in various non-linear video editing tools and other software (Edius, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom)• Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles• Creative and innovative• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Previous work experience as a Video Producer.• Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.• Creative and artistic skills.• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.• Portfolio of completed film productions.• Ability to work on a tight schedule.• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.MUST KNOW - Kannada ( Written & Verbal )
