We're scaling rapidly with healthy contribution margins and are currently in an active growth phase.We're scaling aggressively, and we need someone exceptional to help drive that growth.The Role: Chief of Staff to CEOThis is not a typical Chief of Staff role. You won't just be coordinating meetings or managing projects. You'll be the CEO's strategic partner—owning critical company initiatives, driving cross-functional execution, and turning data into decisions.What You'll Actually DoOwn Critical Company Initiatives (40%)- Channel strategy execution: Analyze performance, recommend entry/exit decisions, negotiate with platforms - SKU rationalization: Identify underperforming products, manage phase-outs, optimize portfolio - Strategic projects that CEO needs done but doesn't have bandwidth forBe the Company's Data Brain (30%)- Build and maintain executive dashboards (revenue, margins, inventory, cash flow) - Weekly/monthly MIS review and analysis—finding insights, flagging risks - Own the numbers—if the CEO asks a question, you either know the answer or get it in 30 minutesExecute Cross-Functional Projects (20%)- Coordinate with category, supply chain, finance, sales teams to drive execution - Follow up relentlessly on key initiatives (you own outcomes, not just tasks) - Bridge gaps between teams—solve bottlenecks, unblock decisions - Run weekly business review meetings with department headsBe the CEO's Sounding Board (10%)- Sense-check strategic decisions with data - Challenge assumptions constructively - Bring outside perspectives and competitive intelligence - Think like an owner, not an employeeWhat We're Looking ForMust-Haves (Non-Negotiable)1. Exceptional Excel/Data Skills- Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, macros - Can build a P&L model from scratch - Comfortable wrangling messy data from multiple sources - Bonus: SQL, Python, or other data tools2. AI-Native Mindset- Already using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools in your daily work - Comfortable prompting AI for analysis, research, content creation - Can leverage AI to 10x your productivity - We use Claude extensively—you should be fluent3. Extreme Ownership- You don't need handholding or detailed instructions - If something needs to be done, you figure it out - You're comfortable saying "I'll own this" and actually delivering - No task is beneath you—you do what needs to be done4. Entrepreneurial Hustle- You've built something from scratch (side project, startup, 0→1 product) - Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities - Bias for action over analysis paralysis - Resourceful—you make things happen despite constraints5.
