Location: Mumbai (In-office Role)Time Zone - US (5 PM - 2 AM IST)Travel to the US a few times a year when neededAbout PepperPepper is building the operating system for modern marketing teams – across Content, SEO, GEO, AI, and brand-led growth. We work with CMOs and marketing leaders at fast-growing startups and large enterprises in the US and globally. We are now building a high-signal community of senior marketing leaders – CMOs, Heads of Growth, Digital, Content, and Performance Marketing – and are hiring a Community Lead to own this end-to-end.This is not a social media role. This is a relationship, programming, and execution role.What This Role Owns (End-to-End)1. Community Strategy & Positioning- Define the purpose, positioning, and value proposition of the Pepper Marketing Leaders community - Identify core personas – CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Heads of Growth, Content, SEO, Digital - Decide what makes this community worth showing up for – insight, access, learning, and relationships - Work closely with Pepper leadership on themes like AI in marketing, SEO to GEO shift, brand vs performance, content ops, etc.2. Circle.co Community Ownership (This is a Good To Have)- Own the full setup and daily management of the community on Circle.co - Design the community structure – spaces, cohorts, themes, discussion formats - Drive engagement via: - Weekly discussion prompts - Expert AMAs - Case study breakdowns - Thought leadership drops - Ensure the community feels curated, not noisy - Track engagement, active members, retention, and participation quality3. Podcasts, Webinars & Virtual Programming- Own Pepper’s Marketing Leaders Podcast end-to-end: - Guest identification and outreach (CMOs, operators, founders) - Episode planning, prep, and scheduling - Working with the content and video team for production and distribution - Plan and run monthly webinars / roundtables for the community: - Topic ideation - Speaker coordination - Live moderation and follow-ups - Ensure all programming feels peer-led, not sales-led4. Offline & High-Touch Engagements- Plan and manage small, high-quality offline meetups: - CMO dinners - Roundtables at major US events - Pepper-hosted private sessions - Coordinate logistics, guest lists, and post-event follow-ups - Work with Pepper’s marketing and leadership team when travel to the US is required5. Content & Distribution for the Community- Work with Pepper’s content team to: - Repurpose podcasts, webinars, and discussions into high-signal content - Create newsletters or community digests - Highlight member insights and operator stories - Ensure content feels operator-first, not brand-heavy6. Relationship Building & Member Experience- Build 1:1 relationships with key community members - Actively onboard new members and set context on how to get value - Identify power members and turn them into contributors and champions - Ensure every senior leader who joins feels seen, heard, and respected7. Metrics & Outcomes- Define and track: - Active vs passive members - Engagement quality - Event attendance - Repeat participation - Number of leads coming in from this - Share monthly insights with Pepper leadership on: - What leaders are talking about - Emerging themes and pain points - Opportunities for content, products, and partnershipsWho We Are Looking ForMust-Have- 3–6+ years of experience in: - Community building - B2B marketing - Content marketing - Events or partnerships - Strong understanding of how modern marketing teams work - Comfortable talking to CMOs, founders, and senior operators - Strong written and verbal communication skills - High ownership mindset – you run this like your own product - Comfortable working US time zones when neededGood to Have- Experience running communities on Circle, Slack, or similar platforms - Experience hosting or producing podcasts or webinars - Exposure to SaaS, B2B tech, or marketing services - Experience working with US-based stakeholders or audiencesWhat This Role Is Not- Not a social media manager role - Not a pure content writing role - Not a sales role - Not a junior coordination roleThis is a builder role.Why This Role Matters at Pepper- This community will sit at the center of Pepper’s brand, thought leadership, and GTM in the US - You will work directly with senior leadership and industry leaders - You will shape conversations around AI, SEO, GEO, and modern marketing - High visibility, high trust, and high ownership role
