Position Summary:The Project Manager will lead and manage the entire (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, civil etc.) end-to-end execution of both brownfield expansion and greenfield new set-up projects Locations with a primary focus on Dahej.Roles & Responsibilities:• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of brownfield and greenfield projects from initial conception through commissioning. • Identify, evaluate, and select engineering, civil, and architectural consultants, contractors, and vendors aligned to project needs. • Review and approve basic and detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. • Coordinate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to finalize equipment selection, process piping, and utility requirements.• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors to optimize costs and schedule adherence. • Supervise the commissioning activities of the entire project. • Ensure smooth execution of brownfield projects minimizing operational downtime. • Oversee greenfield project execution ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and legal guidelines. • Maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and status reports for senior management. • Facilitate finalization of as-built drawings and layouts for utilities including electrical, steam, gas, AC, and water systems. • Provide post-project support for seamless transition and operational troubleshooting. Qualification & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MBA in Project Management preferred) • Minimum 12 years of experience managing projects in bulk drug or pharmaceutical manufacturing, covering both greenfield and brownfield environments • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and interact with external stakeholders • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with organized planning and problem-solving skills • Assertive, proactive, and a team player with leadership qualities to drive project success • Exposure to design, installation, and operational processes is an added advantage • Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety compliance in pharma manufacturing projects
