Job Description:The Deputy Manager / Lead – Supplier Quality Management is responsible for ensuring supplier quality excellence through effective complaint handling, escalation management, audits, supplier development, and change management. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, preventing recurrence of issues, and maintaining high-quality standards across the supply base.Category knowledge: Should have the process and problem analysis knowledge of Passive LCDs, TFT displays, semiconductors (power ICs, microcontrollers, and memories), and PCBsKey ResponsibilitiesComplaint Management & Problem SolvingInitiate, manage, and close8D processesfor supplier-related incidents at: Incoming Inspection Production Customer Warranty Implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence of issues. Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance. MaintainLessons Learnedandread-across databasesfor all supplier incidents and events.Escalation ManagementInitiate and manage escalation processes such as: Early Warnings Red Alerts Ensure timely closure using theEscalation Toolbox . Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve critical supplier issues.Audit ManagementPlan, conduct, and close-loopsupplier process audits . Ensure effective implementation of corrective and improvement actions resulting from audits. Track audit findings and compliance status.Supplier ManagementLeadSupplier Improvement Programswhen required.
